The new Forward Deployed Engineering Team within the Data and Insights Organization in WMG Global Tech is a specialized capability that focuses on solving a diverse range of problems across our business. This team will partner with our Product Solutions team and work with our key business stakeholders across Warner Music Group to rapidly build and deploy automation and solutions using data and AI. If you love working directly with customers on a variety of different problems while using world-class data platforms to create awesome solutions, and you’ve got strong software engineering and data fundamentals, this role might be a great fit.
We are seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our organization. As an FDE, you will work directly with our most important business stakeholders across labels and global functions to deliver rapid solutions leveraging data and AI. Strong candidates will thrive when partnering with non-technical customers, have great product instincts, lots of empathy, and can intersect AI solutions with their pain points to turn painful tasks that take weeks into workflows that take minutes. This role entails full stack solution engineering, including data pipelining and interop, backend development in Python, dashboard and Streamlit app development, and leveraging Databricks and Snowflake AI tools such as Genie and Cortex to create solutions in hours that used to take days. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a world-class team using best-in-class AI tools to take the music business to the next level.
