Customer-facing senior engineer at clera who works directly with enterprise procurement teams: understanding their workflows, deploying and debugging AI agents from conversation traces, and building full-stack product features and integrations. Stack includes TypeScript/Python, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL/Supabase, and Vercel.
Join an engineering team building AI software for enterprise procurement. In this customer-facing role, you will work directly with procurement teams to understand their needs, build and deploy solutions, and improve AI agents based on real-world use.
Visit customer teams to understand their workflows and turn broad requests into clear problems to solve.
Review agent conversations and execution traces to identify failure patterns, then improve prompts, context, and tool use.
Work with the AI team to turn recurring agent failures into evaluation cases.
Build product features, customer-data adapters, and integrations across the stack, from initial idea through production.
Support rollouts, observe how customers use the software, and iterate until it delivers value.
Bring recurring customer needs into shared product and platform capabilities.
Relevant experience in the 2 to 10+ year range, with a track record of shipping software used by real people.
Strong full-stack or backend foundations, including production APIs, SQL, and relational databases.
Production experience with TypeScript or Python; experience with React, Next.js, or another frontend framework is useful.
Ability to investigate system behavior using logs, traces, or conversation histories, and to improve software based on direct observation of users.
Experience with enterprise integrations, LLM applications, or technical customer work; procurement knowledge is not required.
Familiarity with TypeScript, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL/Supabase, Vercel, and Python is relevant to the stack.
