Are you our next Senior Financial Controller shaping NTG’s financial backbone?
NTG is looking for a strong and curious Senior Financial Controller – someone who feels at home where IFRS meets reality, where structure creates momentum, and where finance is not just about reporting, but about continuously improving how things are done.
If you thrive in a dynamic environment, if you take responsibility from A to Z, and if you’re motivated by the idea of building a future-ready finance function where AI and automation play a natural role – then this might be the role where your financial skills will truly make an impact.
About NTG
NTG operates across more than 80 entities, multiple countries and transportation segments. Behind the fast-moving business lies a need for trustworthy numbers, solid reporting and a finance function that both safeguards compliance and drives development.
As Senior Financial Controller, you will be a key contributor to ensuring high-quality internal and external reporting across the Group, while also playing an important role in developing our controlling framework, internal controls and accounting processes.
You’ll be part of Group Finance at our headquarters in Hvidovre, working closely with engaged colleagues who value professionalism, collaboration and a pragmatic approach to complex financial matters – and who share a strong ambition to move the finance function forward.
Your role
In this role, you will work broadly across financial reporting, controlling and development tasks, including:
In short, you’ll be right at the heart of NTG’s financial governance – ensuring quality today while helping build smarter solutions for tomorrow.
Your financial DNA
You bring solid financial insight and a strong sense of responsibility, combined with a natural curiosity and comfort taking ownership of complex challenges. Your experience may come from a Senior Financial Controller role or a similar position, or from a strong foundation in a Big4 environment with audit experience.
What matters most is a solid understanding of IFRS, even if you’re not an expert in every standard. Experience from previous controller roles is an advantage but not a requirement, and familiarity with areas such as income taxes or business combinations is considered a plus.
You thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift and the pace can be high, while remaining focused and dependable when plans change. You’re motivated by continuous professional development and bring a structured yet pragmatic approach to your work.
Most importantly, you have a strong interest in IFRS and take ownership of ensuring a robust and consistent application of the standard.
You enjoy improving existing processes, are curious about how digital tools and AI can support smarter finance processes, and are keen to contribute to the continued development of our financial reporting framework.
Are you our new Senior Financial Controller?
If you’re motivated by responsibility, continuous improvement and the opportunity to shape a modern, future-oriented finance function – then we’d love to hear from you.
Send us your application and CV and tell us how you can help strengthen and evolve NTG’s Group Finance.
