Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting, mid-term planning, and cash flow planning processes.
- Monitor and analyze sales, gross profit, operating expenses, and business profitability, identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct variance analysis between budget, forecast, and actual results, and provide actionable recommendations to improve business performance.
- Support business expansion, new business initiatives, investment proposals, ROI evaluations, and strategic projects through financial modeling and analysis.
- Assist in cost control initiatives, productivity improvement projects, and profit optimization opportunities across the business.
Management Reporting & Business Insights
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual management reviews, including business performance presentations to local and regional management.
- Prepare management reports, business performance reviews, executive presentations, and financial analysis.
- Drive reporting enhancement, process standardization, automation, and finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to monitor business performance and support management decision-making.
Team & Personal Contribution
- Understand departmental and company objectives and contribute to achieving business targets through proactive planning and execution.
- Collaborate effectively across functions and support teams to achieve departmental objectives.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities and projects.
- Deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Identify issues proactively, perform root cause analysis, and propose practical solutions under appropriate guidance.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and support management requests as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related disciplines.
- CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualifications are required.
- 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, management accounting, business planning, corporate planning, or commercial finance is preferred.
- Experience in retail, FMCG, e-commerce, or multinational organizations is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
