The short version:
Geeky Tech is a high-performance SEO, GEO, and PPC agency. We work with ambitious mid-market and enterprise businesses that are serious about search performance: organic, paid, and how their brand shows up as AI fundamentally changes the way people find answers.
We have strong client retention, a proprietary SaaS product (GeekyIQ), and a team of strategists who can hold their own in any room.
What we don't have yet is a dedicated senior person whose job is getting us in front of the right enterprise decision-makers and closing meaningful new business.
That's this role:
What this role actually is:
This is a pure enterprise sales role, but not a traditional one.
You won't be winging discovery calls or sending generic decks. You'll be paired directly with our SEO strategists and PPC consultants, drawing on their technical depth to lead consultative sales conversations with senior marketing stakeholders. Your job is to open the right doors, run the commercial process, and close. Theirs is to make sure the strategy is unimpeachable.
The deals are large (£50k+ annual retainers), the buyers are sophisticated, and the sales cycle rewards substance over pressure.
Day to day, you'll:
- Build and own a pipeline of qualified enterprise prospects from scratch, inbound and outbound
- Lead discovery and commercial conversations with CMOs, Heads of Digital, and performance marketing leads
- Work directly alongside SEO strategists and PPC consultants to scope, position, and pitch integrated solutions
- Bring GeekyIQ into conversations where it strengthens the case: it's a genuine differentiator, not an add-on
- Record concise, high-level search review videos for top-priority enterprise prospects, strategic and credibility-building, not high-volume
- Close deals and hand over cleanly, so client relationships start well
- Report directly to the founder with honest pipeline visibility: no vanity metrics, no spin
You'll know you're succeeding when:
- Enterprise deals close with clarity on both sides
- Delivery teams inherit well-scoped, realistic briefs
- Clients are retained because expectations were set honestly from day one
- Revenue quality compounds over time
What we're looking for:
You've sold complex B2B services at enterprise or high-value mid-market level. You understand how to navigate longer sales cycles, build genuine relationships with senior buyers, and close deals that stick.
You don't need to be a search technician. That's what the strategists are for. But you need to be intellectually engaged enough to hold a credible commercial conversation about SEO, GEO, and PPC without needing hand-holding on every call.
Essential:
- Proven track record closing enterprise or high-value B2B contracts (£30k–£100k+)
- Experience building and managing your own pipeline without a BDR team
- Comfortable leading commercial conversations with senior marketing stakeholders
- Strong enough grasp of SEO and paid media to represent them credibly: you don't audit accounts, but you understand strategy
- Experience working alongside technical or delivery teams to shape proposals, not just send them
- CRM discipline: you log what happened, not what you wish had happened
Strong advantage:
- Agency, SaaS, or digital services background
- Familiarity with how GEO and AI search is reshaping brand visibility
- Experience selling integrated channel solutions (SEO + PPC) rather than single-service retainers
What you won't get here:
A pre-built pipeline. A large sales support function. Permission to coast.
What you will get:
Fit: You'll be selling a full-funnel search offer (SEO + GEO + PPC + GeekyIQ) built around a strategist pairing model that makes your conversations better. That's a rarer position than most agencies can offer.
Freedom: Full autonomy over how you run your time and pipeline. We measure outcomes, not activity.
Fortune: £45k–£70k base. Plus 2.5% commission on every pound of recurring revenue you close, paid monthly, for the lifetime of the client. No caps, no resets, no commission theatre.
At target performance, that looks like this:
Level | New MRR Closed | Monthly Commission | Annual Commission
- Minimum | £10,000 | £3,000 | £36,000
- Target | £12,500 | £3,750 | £45,000
- Stretch | £20,000+ | £6,000+ | £72,000+
If the client stays, you keep getting paid. Simple.
Fun: Small, high-performance team. Global and remote. No corporate nonsense. Direct access to the founder. Here's what our Christmas party looks like.
And the basics:
- Fully remote, 35-hour week, flexible hours
- 31 days holiday + Birthday off
- Training budget and dedicated L&D days
How to apply:
Record a 3–5 minute Loom video. Mandatory: applications without one will not be considered.
Cover:
- Your enterprise sales background and the deal sizes you've worked on.
- How you approach commercial conversations alongside technical teams.
- The biggest deal you've closed: how you found it, how you won it.
- Why this role fits where you're going.
