Senior Digital Designer

We’re looking for a Senior Digital Designer to join our Creative Team in a Malta-based role, working across both brand creative and UI/UX.

You’ll work at the intersection of brand and product, shaping campaign visuals and promotional assets while designing user flows, layouts and prototypes.

You’ll own projects end to end, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering and Marketing. You’ll also use AI-assisted tools and performance insights to continuously raise the quality and efficiency of what we deliver.

Responsibilities

• Set visual direction for campaigns and produce high-quality promotional and digital assets in line with brand guidelines.
• Design user flows, wireframes, functional prototypes and responsive layouts that are intuitive and accessible.
• Build, maintain and evolve scalable component libraries, templates and design workflows.
• Take projects from brief to final delivery, refining briefs with stakeholders and keeping work on track.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Marketing to align priorities and deliver cohesive experiences.
• Run thorough post-handoff quality checks with developers to reduce design and implementation issues.
• Use performance insights, user feedback and testing results to improve design outcomes.
• Use AI-assisted creative and design tools to work more efficiently without compromising quality.
• Reviewing content that has been generated or materially modified using AI tools.
• Ensuring that AI-generated or AI-manipulated content is appropriately disclosed where required by law or organisational policy.
• Applying editorial standards to verify the accuracy, quality, and appropriateness of AI-assisted content before publication.
• Maintaining records of AI use in the editorial process, where required.
• Working with compliance, legal, and technical teams to implement and maintain AI transparency measures.
• Keeping up to date with developments in AI regulation and organisational policies relating to the use of AI in published content.
• Promoting the responsible, ethical, and transparent use of AI within editorial workflows.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience in digital design, with strong skills across both UI/UX and creative, and deeper specialism in one.
• Excellent visual design skills across composition, typography, brand identity, campaign assets and digital media.
• Proven experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, responsive UI and scalable design systems.
• Solid understanding of accessibility standards and user-centred design.
• Confident with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), prototyping tools and AI-assisted design tools.
• Experience working closely with development teams and carrying out design QA.
• Self-driven, with strong stakeholder management and the confidence to challenge and refine briefs.

What success looks like

You consistently deliver high-quality creative and UI work on time, in line with our brand guidelines, design system and UX standards. Stakeholders trust you to take a brief and run with it, and handoffs to development are clean.

You’re always improving how we work, sharpening templates and components, and using data, feedback and AI to make each project better than the last.
