Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer as we are expanding our small (3 people) but mighty team responsible for the platform. We need an engineer who treats infrastructure like software engineering. You should have a deep grasp of Azure internals, a "Platform-as-a-Product" mindset, and the confidence to lead a feature end-to-end, communicating with your "customers" (our developers), translating their needs into solid, scalable platform components.

Your mission: abstract away complexity so developers can ship fast without worrying about networking, permissions, or infrastructure details.

What We Offer:

• B2B contract with a U.S.-based company
• Remote-first setup with flexible hours
• Rate: $40–50/hour (USD, with FX protection. We guarantee a floor rate of 1 USD = 4 PLN to secure your payout)
• 10 days (80h) of paid Recharge Days (after 6 months)
• Annual bonus (5% of yearly earnings)
• $1,000 yearly learning budget + paid learning time (up to 3h/week)
• MyBenefit cafeteria program
• Fully funded off-sites
• All equipment and licenses provided
• Real ownership and impact — your work directly shapes how engineers build
• Modern stack, no legacy baggage
• Space to experiment and innovate
• A culture that’s still startup-like: fast, pragmatic, and low on bureaucracy

About CouponFollow

CouponFollow helps millions of shoppers save money online through our website and Cently browser extension. We're a remote-first product company of around 80 people, with engineering teams primarily based in Poland and business teams in the U.S. Our teams are organized around products, bringing together Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders to solve real problems, experiment quickly, and deliver measurable business impact.

Why Join CouponFollow?

You'll build the platform that enables every engineering team at CouponFollow to move faster, ship with confidence, and focus on solving customer problems instead of infrastructure complexity.

We believe great platform engineers combine deep technical expertise with product thinking. Your customers are our developers, and your success is measured by how much easier, safer, and faster you make software delivery across the company.

We're also building an AI-native engineering culture. We don't treat AI as an optional productivity tool - we expect engineers to use it throughout the software development lifecycle to automate repetitive work, accelerate implementation, and spend more time solving complex engineering challenges. Just as importantly, we value the engineering judgment to validate, refine, and own everything that reaches production.

If you're excited by treating infrastructure as a product, building platforms that other engineers love to use, and shaping how modern software teams build and ship software, we'd love to hear from you.

What You Bring:

• Full initiative ownership, which includes running demos for our developers and DevOps Agents to gather feedback and iterate until the solution is truly solid.
• A Platform-as-a-Product mindset (you build for developers, not tickets)
• Strong Azure expertise (Architecture, Landing Zones, RBAC, networking, ACR, ARM/Bicep, and cost optimization)
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform + module design, state management)
• CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines)
• Fluent in English and Polish (at least C1).
• Strong understanding of cloud security and identity (Azure AD, policies, scanning tools, etc.)
• Experience with platform engineering/developer enablement
• Observability tooling expertise (Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics, or similar)
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Experience working closely with engineering teams in agile environments
• Containerization best practices knowledge

Additional Assets:

• Exposure to policy-as-code (e.g., Azure Policy) or compliance frameworks
• Experience with coding AI agents (Claude, Codex, Copilot)
• Experience with security practices across the SDLC (supply chain protection, SAST, DAST, WAF)
• Experience configuring and working with the LGTM stack
• Previous work experience at a product company
