• Assist our Sales team by providing technical expertise during solution design and pre-sales engagements.

• Develop modern applications using front-end technologies such as Angular, HTML, and CSS.

• Build back-end services and APIs using C#, .NET Core, and related technologies.

• Design and deliver cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

• Create scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures.

• Champion AI-assisted and agentic engineering practices across the development team.

• Conduct peer reviews of both human-written and AI-generated code to ensure quality and security standards are maintained.

• Mentor and coach developers, supporting their professional growth and technical capability.

• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Drive continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and best-practice software engineering approaches.

• Ensure development activities align with security, compliance, and ISO 27001 requirements.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience delivering complex software projects from concept through to production.

• Strong full-stack development capability.

• Commercial experience with:

  • Angular or modern front-end frameworks

  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL databases

  • AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms

• Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.

• Experience mentoring and coaching other developers.

• Practical experience using AI coding assistants and agentic development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar.

• Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• The ability to balance multiple priorities and context-switch effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.

What Success Looks Like

You'll thrive in this role if you are:

• Customer-centric and commercially aware.

• Passionate about technology, innovation, and continuous learning.

• Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Action-oriented and comfortable working through ambiguity.

• A natural mentor who enjoys helping others succeed.

• Curious about AI and excited about shaping the future of software development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• AWS or Azure Associate Certification.

• Working toward AWS or Azure Professional Certification is advantageous.

Why Lancom?

• Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office.

• Southern Cross Health Insurance.

• Modern office with complimentary snacks, drinks, and great coffee.

• Ongoing investment in professional development and certifications.

• Exposure to leading AI, cloud, and software engineering technologies.

• A strong culture built around learning, collaboration, and innovation.

• Opportunities to mentor, influence technical direction, and grow your career.
