About this opportunity:
The Senior Developer Board Power Design engineer is responsible for the board‑level power design of baseband and related boards. The role covers the full lifecycle from requirements analysis, solution definition, detailed design and verification, to ramp‑up for volume production and maintenance, ensuring reliable, cost‑efficient and of high-quality power solutions.
What you will do:
- Define board‑level power architecture and solutions.
- Lead technical problem‑solving and performance optimization.
- Design board‑level power solutions including lightning protection, reverse‑polarity protection, hot‑swap circuitry, EMC filtering, DC/DC power stages and control loops.
- Perform circuit simulation, loss calculation and power integrity (PI) analysis.
- Complete schematic design and provide guidance to PCB engineers.
- Plan and execute performance tests and also robustness/reliability verification.
- Prepare technical documentation for design, verification and production.
- Continuously track new power technologies, components and processes, and lead pre‑study/innovation activities in the power domain.
The skills you bring:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of power design experience, with the ability to independently complete complex board‑level power solution design, simulation, debugging and issue resolution.
- Solid theoretical foundation in power topologies, with strong control modelling and analysis capability; mastery of at least one topology.
- Good understanding of power integrity (PI) and EMC principles.
