Senior Delivery Manager (SaaS, Technology, Utilities)

About the role

As Senior Client Delivery Manager, you'll own the end-to-end client relationship across new implementations, migrations, go-live, steady-state support and continuous improvement. You'll lead complex, multi-workstream programmes while creating the structure, clarity and accountability required to deliver successfully. You'll also play an important role in developing the broader Client Delivery capability, helping establish the standards, frameworks and ways of working that will support the organisation as it continues to grow.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-workstream technology programmes from kick-off through implementation, go-live and beyond

• Own programme governance, ways of working, delivery standards and accountability for outcomes

• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite executives, becoming a credible and strategic voice throughout the engagement

• Coach and develop delivery professionals, providing context, challenge and hands-on support to help them succeed

• Own risks, dependencies and blockers across your portfolio, identifying issues early and driving them through to resolution

• Balance client requirements with the efficiency and scalability of the SaaS platform — advocating for the right solution rather than defaulting to bespoke development

• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape solutions that maximise existing platform capability and identify where new capability is genuinely required

• Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and internal delivery practices rather than simply responding to client requests

• Communicate progress, risks, decisions and priorities clearly across delivery teams, clients and senior leadership

• Help build a more mature, scalable Client Delivery function as the organisation continues its rapid growth

About you

• Extensive programme and delivery management experience across complex technology, software or SaaS implementations

• A proven track record leading multiple stakeholders and workstreams through significant transformation

• Experience leading, coaching and developing delivery professionals

• The confidence to operate across the full stakeholder spectrum — from developers and architects through to C-suite

• Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with the ability to understand the business context behind a client's requirements and recommend the right delivery approach

• Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively when you see a better path

• A genuine bias towards action — you identify what matters, take ownership and keep momentum moving

• Strong technical curiosity and the ability to engage credibly with areas such as data, APIs, configuration and platform capability

• Excellent organisation and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sense of complexity and manage competing priorities

• Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to maintain momentum through long and complex transformation programmes
