Senior Delivery Manager

Who we are 🌍

We’re IAG Loyalty - one organisation with two ambitious, growing divisions across Loyalty and Holidays. Each has its own goals, strategy and team, but together we’re united by a shared vision to create a more rewarding world of travel and experiences.

Our Loyalty division is home to Avios, the global loyalty currency, enabling millions of members to collect and spend rewards across travel, retail and financial services.

We’re on an exciting journey of growth and transformation – and technology is central to how we continue to evolve.

The opportunity ✨

We're looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our Delivery Office within Tech, Data & AI. This is a strategic delivery role that goes beyond traditional project management. You'll partner with senior business leaders to shape ideas, define solutions and lead complex technology and business transformation initiatives from concept through to successful delivery.

Working across our Loyalty business, you'll help solve complex challenges, identify opportunities to improve how we operate and ensure strategic initiatives deliver measurable business value. Depending on the initiative, you may act as a programme lead, transformation partner or internal consultant, bringing clarity to ambiguity and helping teams turn ideas into outcomes.

If you enjoy influencing strategy as much as delivering it, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact across one of the world's leading loyalty businesses.

What you'll be doing 🚀

You'll lead a portfolio of complex technology and business transformation initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Customer Operations and the wider IAG Group. From discovery through to implementation, you'll ensure initiatives are strategically aligned, commercially sound and successfully delivered.

You'll facilitate discovery workshops, shape business requirements and help define delivery approaches that balance customer needs, business priorities and technical feasibility. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you'll challenge assumptions, provide structured recommendations and influence decision-making throughout the lifecycle of each initiative.

You'll oversee programme governance, manage risks, dependencies and investment decisions, while providing leadership across cross-functional teams and third-party partners. Working within Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall environments, you'll create clarity where there is ambiguity and ensure delivery remains focused on achieving meaningful business outcomes.

As technology continues to evolve, you'll also identify opportunities where emerging capabilities, including AI, can improve customer experiences, delivery effectiveness and business performance.

What we need from you ⚡

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with excellent delivery leadership and enjoys solving complex business challenges through collaboration and innovation.

You'll bring:

• Extensive experience leading complex technology and business transformation programmes from concept through to successful implementation.

• Experience operating as a strategic business partner, helping shape initiatives rather than solely delivering predefined requirements.

• Strong consulting or advisory experience with the confidence to challenge thinking and influence senior stakeholders.

• Experience leading discovery workshops, facilitating requirements gathering and shaping delivery approaches.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders and executive audiences.

• Strong programme and project governance experience, managing multiple workstreams, budgets, risks, dependencies and cross-functional teams.

• Experience leading delivery across Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear recommendations.

• Knowledge of AI and emerging technologies, with the ability to identify opportunities where they can deliver business value.

• Experience using delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365.

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience within travel, loyalty or digital product organisations.

• Experience working across large, matrix organisations with multiple business units.

• Professional certifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, SAFe or Agile.

We might not be right for you if:

• You prefer working from a fixed plan rather than helping shape the direction. Many of our initiatives begin with ambiguity, requiring curiosity, collaboration and strategic thinking.

• You're most comfortable focusing on delivery alone. This role combines strategy, discovery, business partnering and execution.

• You prefer working independently without engaging a wide range of stakeholders. Success in this role depends on building trusted relationships, influencing decisions and bringing people together around shared outcomes.

If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every requirement, we'd still love to hear from you. Research shows that some people are less likely to apply unless they meet every requirement, but we know great talent comes in many forms.

The Blend 📍

This role forms part of our Loyalty Division and is based from our London office.

We call our hybrid approach The Blend — giving you the flexibility to choose where you do your best work while staying connected with your team and the wider business. Typically, you'll spend at least two days each week in the office, with the remainder working from home. There may also be occasions where you'll work from one of our other office or partner locations depending on business needs.

Why you'll love it 💙

This is an opportunity to help shape the future of one of the world's largest loyalty businesses. You'll influence strategic decisions, lead high-profile transformation initiatives and work alongside talented colleagues from across the IAG Group.

You'll be trusted to challenge thinking, introduce new ideas and drive meaningful change, while developing your own career in a business that's investing heavily in technology, data, AI and the future of travel.

What makes us special

You do.

Our people bring the curiosity, expertise and ambition that make IAG Loyalty a great place to work. As we continue to grow, you'll have the opportunity to shape how we deliver change, influence strategic priorities and build a career that's as rewarding as the experiences we create for our customers.

Diversity and Inclusion
