Job Description

• Senior Data Test Engineer - Automation
• Initial 12-Months | Day Rate Contract $$$
• Hybrid Work | 50% WFH | 50% Sydney CBD
• Federal Government | Must be Australian Ctizen
• Data | SSIS | SQL | Databricks | Python

The role:
Join a growing enterprise data team where you'll lead test engineering across modern data architectures, participating in several data initiatives including Databricks transformation and next-gen AI automation.

What you will be doing:

• Design, develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium).
• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for data platforms and pipelines.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous testing pipelines.

Desirable skills:

• Strong Python scripting capability for test automation.
• Advanced SQL testing skills using SQL Server.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g. Azure DevOps)

Essential Background:
Must be an Australian Citizen based in Sydney, would be highly advantageous if currently have Baseline Clearance or NV1 level security clearance.
