Senior Data Scientist

Salary: £56,000 - 96,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require strong SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT and pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Data Factory.
• We require experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• We require proficiency in data modelling, including dimensional, entity-relationship, and event-driven approaches.
• We require an understanding of marketing data ecosystems, including CDPs, CRM, and behavioural data.
• We require experience supporting analytics and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau from a data engineering perspective.
• We require knowledge of data governance, quality frameworks, and secure data handling, including GDPR and PII.
• We require the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• We require strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• We build and maintain scalable data pipelines that integrate customer, campaign, and operational data into the CDP and marketing data layer.
• We design and manage data models to support segmentation, lifecycle analytics, attribution, and KPI measurement.
• We ensure data quality, consistency, deduplication, and optimisation for analytics and reporting use cases.
• We enable CDP functionality, including identity resolution, consent management, and audience readiness.
• We develop event streams and triggers to support customer journey orchestration and real-time decisioning.
• We provide structured datasets and semantic layers for dashboards and advanced analytics.
• We implement data governance practices, including lineage, cataloguing, validation, and GDPR and PII compliance.
• We partner with analytics, MarTech, and marketing teams to align data solutions with business needs.
