Role Overview:
BDR Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to support a mission-critical Department of Defense customer. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data architectures, pipelines, and data management solutions that support operational, analytical, and decision-making capabilities across secure environments.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in modern data engineering technologies, cloud platforms, large-scale data processing, and data governance. This role requires collaboration with system architects, data scientists, software engineers, analysts, and government stakeholders to design secure, scalable, and resilient data solutions that meet mission requirements.
The Senior Data Engineer will also provide technical leadership, perform code reviews, guide engineering best practices, develop software prototypes, and support the integration of data solutions across complex enterprise environments.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a current CI Polygraph at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
The compensation range for this position is $160,000-190,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance.
