Senior Data Engineer building scalable data models and resilient pipelines with SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow for a Nordic financial group's Recovery Data Management project. Hybrid role (2-3 office days/week) from Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Warszawa; B2B rate 900-1200 PLN/day.
Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa (2/3 days per week from the office)

You will be involved in a financial project focused on Recovery Data Management, supporting the development of scalable and reliable data solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate business requirements into robust data models and pipelines.
Responsibilities you’ll have
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain data models and resilient data pipelines.
Own deliveries end-to-end, from requirements and implementation through testing and production deployment.
Build and optimize data solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
Integrate data from enterprise APIs and other data sources.
Drive automation and apply modern engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
Ensure the long-term maintainability, stability, and reliability of delivered solutions.
Expected competences and knowledge
Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
Proven experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
Strong data modelling skills and experience designing scalable and resilient data pipelines.
Experience with API integrations and modern data architectures.
Solid software engineering practices, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end deliveries.
