Overview

As a Senior Copywriter, you will develop compelling, accurate, and compliant copy across a wide range of digital and print channels. You will translate complex medical information into clear, engaging messaging that aligns with brand strategies, creative direction, and audience needs. Working closely with designers and cross-functional partners, you will help deliver cohesive campaigns that balance creativity with scientific accuracy and regulatory requirements. You will manage multiple projects independently, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced writer who combines strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical communications.
Accountabilities

Develop, write, and review high-quality copy aligned with creative briefs, strategic objectives, brand guidelines, and client expectations.

Create compelling pharmaceutical marketing content across digital and print channels, including websites, brochures, banner advertisements, email campaigns, and other promotional materials.

Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritize competing deadlines, and consistently deliver accurate, polished work.

Collaborate with art directors, designers, and other creative professionals to ensure strong alignment between written content and visual execution.

Apply appropriate brand voice, tone, style, and messaging principles to effectively engage specific audiences.

Stay informed about medical, pharmaceutical, and regulatory developments to ensure content accuracy and compliance with applicable industry requirements.

Review source materials, prepare annotations, develop accurate citations, and incorporate references into promotional materials when necessary.

Present copy and final deliverables to internal teams, incorporating feedback and maintaining high editorial standards.

Anticipate creative and production challenges, proactively identify solutions, and contribute innovative ideas that support brand marketing strategies.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistency, quality, and strategic alignment throughout the content development process.

Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, or a related field.

Professional experience: At least four years of copywriting experience, preferably within pharmaceutical marketing, healthcare communications, or a related regulated industry.

Pharmaceutical knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, medical communications standards, and relevant industry trends.

Writing and editing: Excellent copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively.

Scientific accuracy: Ability to interpret medical reference materials, validate information, and produce well-supported, compliant marketing content.

Brand communication: Experience adapting tone of voice, messaging, and writing style to different brands, audiences, and communication channels.

Location: Open to remote candidates residing in the United States or Canada, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern time zone.

Annual base salary: $73,000–$95,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
