The Senior Controls Engineer will lead the development of propulsion energy management algorithms and control strategies for Stellantis electrified programs. The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of classical and modern control theory, combined with a track record of delivering control system solutions for automotive or similar applications
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design and implement high-voltage energy management control algorithms and functions
- Define and spearhead best practice control algorithm developments leveraging advanced, physics-based, and data-driven methods
- Lead the definition and simulation of energy management use cases and concepts
- Leverage Model-in-the-Loop (MiL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), subsystem testing, and vehicle testing to verify control algorithms against functional requirements
- Interface with cross-functional stakeholders within the high-voltage energy management domain to support definition of functional objectives and requirements
