Senior C++ Engineer - Tribus

Location: Singapore or Hong Kong (Relocation + Sponsorship Available)

We’re working with a top-tier quantitative trading firm building out its next-generation market access platform for high-frequency and crypto trading.

This is a high-impact, front-office engineering role where you’ll operate at the intersection of ultra-low latency systems, trading infrastructure, and exchange connectivity .

If you’re currently at a competitor and feel capped on technical depth or impact — this is the kind of move people make to level up.

The Role

You’ll be a core contributor to the market access stack , owning performance-critical systems that directly impact trading outcomes.

1. Design and optimize ultra-low latency market access systems
2. Work at the Linux kernel / systems level to squeeze out microseconds
3. Build and enhance exchange connectivity, order entry, and execution paths
4. Partner directly with traders and quant researchers
5. Drive performance tuning across networking, memory, and CPU optimization
6. Contribute to a highly performant, production-grade C++ codebase

What We’re Looking For

This is a deep systems engineering role — not generalist backend.

1. Strong C++ experience in performance-critical environments
2. Deep understanding of Linux internals / kernel-level optimisation
3. Experience working on market access / order entry / exchange connectivity
4. Proven track record in low-latency systems (HFT, trading, or similar)
5. Strong knowledge of:
6. Networking (TCP/UDP, kernel bypass, NIC tuning)
7. CPU/memory optimisation, threading, lock-free structures
8. Background in trading, crypto, or high-performance systems preferred

Why This Role

1. Market-leading compensation (top of market base + bonus + sign-on)
2. Relocation + visa sponsorship to Singapore or Hong Kong
3. Direct exposure to trading and PnL impact
4. Work alongside some of the strongest engineers and quants globally
5. Real ownership of latency-critical systems — not just incremental work

Who Typically Moves Into This

Engineers making this move usually come from:

1. Top-tier HFT / prop trading firms
2. Market makers / exchanges
3. Low-latency infrastructure teams at leading funds

…and are looking for:

1. More technical depth at the kernel / hardware boundary
2. Greater ownership and impact on trading performance
3. A step-up in comp and platform quality
