Senior Business Development Representative - Boston

👋 Hey there! We’re Attensi – a tech company born in Norway with a passion for gamified simulation training. Since 2012, we’ve gone global, and today our solutions are used by some of the world’s biggest brands in 150+ countries and 50+ languages.

We combine gamification, realistic interactive scenarios, and decision-driven dialogues – all powered by our own game AI – to create immersive, hands-on learning experiences. It's a radically new way to deliver high-impact training that scales across large organizations and actually sticks.

We work with some of the world’s largest brands in energy, retail, hospitality, pharma, professional services, and more – including Circle K, The Boston Consulting Group, PwC, Accenture, KPMG, ABB, Zurich, and Novartis. We are currently over 220 Game Changers across Europe and the US

Attensi is growing at rocket speed, and we are now looking for motivated, ambitious and commercially curious Senior Business Development Representatives to help establish and scale our outbound business development practice in the US.

This is a unique opportunity to be the first Senior BDR in Boston, helping us replicate the success of our established BDR function in London while adapting it for the North American market.

The key focus of this role is to create quality pipelines. You will be hands-on: researching accounts, identifying the right people to speak with, prospecting outbound opportunities, testing messaging, booking meetings and learning what works.

You will be part of our energetic commercial team, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations and Enablement to support our ambitions across North America.

This position reports to our US BDR Team Lead. You will work closely with Joseph and the wider go-to-market team to apply proven processes, strengthen outbound execution and help shape the way the Boston BDR team works as it grows.

What will you do?

• Take a hands-on role in outbound prospecting, including account research, personalised outreach, calling, sequencing and booking qualified discovery meetings.

• Together with our sales team and sector leaders, build targeted account and contact lists across agreed US sectors, identifying the right personas, buying committees and reasons to engage.

• Test and refine messaging, targeting and outreach approaches to understand what resonates with US prospects.

• Build quality pipeline by creating relevant conversations with target organisations and senior decision-makers.

• Work closely with AEs, EAEs, VPs and sector leaders to align on priority accounts, qualification criteria and handover quality.

• Maintain excellent CRM hygiene and accurately track prospecting activity, qualification notes and pipeline progression.

• Share learnings with Sales, Marketing and Revenue Operations to improve campaigns, conversion and outbound effectiveness.

• Follow and contribute to best practice for the US BDR motion, including outreach standards, messaging frameworks and qualification approaches.

• Contribute to a positive, ambitious and high-performance BDR culture in Boston.

Who are you?

Skills and attributes

• High energy, motivated and solution-oriented, with a genuine interest in business development and sales.

• Commercially curious, with an instinct to understand a prospect and their challenges before deciding how to approach them.

• Confident communicating through phone, email and LinkedIn, and comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.

• A strong communicator who can write clearly, asks good questions and explain value without relying on a script.

• Highly organized, with the discipline to manage activity, follow-up and accurate CRM records.

• Data-aware and keen to use feedback and conversion insight to improve your performance.

• Coachable, proactive and resilient, with the energy to keep learning in a fast-paced environment.

• Motivated by the opportunity to help establish a new team and set a high bar from day one.

Experience

• At least one year of experience as a BDR, SDR or in a similar B2B prospecting role, ideally within SaaS, technology or a high-growth environment.

• Practical experience of outbound prospecting, including calling, personalized email and structured sales sequences.

• A track record of turning prospecting activity into qualified meetings, pipeline or revenue opportunities.

• Experience working with CRM systems and sales engagement or prospecting tools.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Experience prospecting into enterprise or multi-site organizations, or working across international teams, is a plus.
