A Senior Business Analyst in Canberra who partners with management, business users and technical teams to capture business needs and translate them into clear requirements and documentation (business cases, process maps, user stories, specs). Day to day involves stakeholder engagement, process and data-flow analysis, and supporting delivery of change across a variety of projects and systems.

What you'll be doing
- Partnering with management and business users to understand their needs, challenges and ideas.
- Translating business requirements into clear, practical requirements and documentation for IT teams.
- Working closely with developers, technical teams and stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned.
- Helping teams navigate change and supporting the delivery of new initiatives and improvements.
- Getting involved across a variety of projects, systems and business areas
You're expertise is aligned with the following:
- Experience in analysis and modelling of current and future business processes and information management environments
- Analyse data related requirements, user pathways and information flows
- Conduct stakeholder engagement activities, analyse customer requirements, and collaborate with technical specialists to develop solutions to business problems
- Develop clear and concise documents including business requirements specifications, business cases, functional & non-functional specifications, process maps, user stories, service design artefacts, and reports
- Evaluate options for solutions and translate business requirements into techno-functional requirements
- Analyse proposed solutions from a strategic viewpoint considering the broad ranging benefits and impacts across the organisation.
