We offer specialised management consulting services, working with top-tier life sciences companies as well as biotech start ups — locally and globally. From strategy development to hands-on implementation, we support our clients were impact matters most.

About the role

We are looking for highly motivated and ambitious Senior Consultants who can contribute across a broad spectrum of projects - including implementation, optimization, and ongoing consulting. The role is open to candidates with either a technical background or a business consulting mindset, as long as you bring curiosity, structure, and a collaborative spirit.

You will work closely with global cross-functional teams, helping clients translate business goals into scalable, system-supported solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Lead workstreams or small teams on client projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct process assessments and define future-state operating models across commercial functions.
• Translate business needs into system requirements and support end-to-end implementation of platforms.
• Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and manage documentation (e.g., project plans, RAID logs).
• Support IT and commercial strategy definition, including CRM, Events management implementation, Consent management optimization and system integration.
• Drive change management activities, including training design, stakeholder engagement, and adoption planning.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, bringing structure, insight, and industry best practices.
• Engage in Sales processes by taking part in RfP responses and delivering presentations.

You bring the following experience:

• 3+ years of experience in consulting, project delivery, or the life sciences industry.
• Experience working in global and/or regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or financial services.
• Prior consulting experience, particularly within leading consulting firms, is valued but not required.

Furthermore, you bring experience within the following areas:

CRM & Commercial Technology:

• Hands-on consulting experience with Salesforce, Veeva, and other CRM platforms; Salesforce and Veeva certifications are a plus.
• Experience contributing to Salesforce Effectiveness initiatives, including CRM adoption, sales process optimisation, and user engagement.
• Exposure to enterprise platform rollouts, system implementations, or integration projects.
• Technical understanding and the ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams is an advantage.

Life Sciences & Compliance

• Understanding of pharmaceutical business processes and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, consent management processes, and related compliance frameworks.
• Experience with event management processes and supporting technologies is a plus.

Project & Change Management

• Experience delivering projects using Agile and/or traditional project management methodologies (PMP, Agile certifications, or similar are a plus).
• Ability to facilitate workshops, translate client needs into practical solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and support change initiatives in complex organisations.
• Experience using project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Communication

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to create impactful presentations and confidently communicate with diverse audiences and senior stakeholders.

As a person you are most likely proactive, curious, and have a solution-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn. You are comfortable working in agile, international, and remote environments and you have an interest in emerging technologies, digital innovation, and AI.

Who is BASE life science?

Founded in 2015, BASE life science is a business and technology consulting company working exclusively in life sciences, built on a simple purpose: grow our people, and deliver real impact for our customers.

We don't think AI is a feature you bolt onto existing systems — we think it's the layer through which a life sciences company's strategy actually gets executed, end to end. Most of the industry is still proving AI can do one task at a time, function by function, pilot by pilot. We're building toward something bigger: AI that runs across clinical, regulatory, quality, and commercial work instead of stopping at the edges of a single application.

With headquarters in Denmark and offices across Spain, Switzerland, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and the US, we work with top-10 pharma and ambitious biotechs alike, and with technology partners including Veeva, Salesforce, IQVIA, Google, AWS, Microsoft, and Amass — turning that belief into deployed, compliant, sellable solutions, not slideware.

Why join BASE life science?

At BASE, you work on meaningful, complex challenges at the intersection of technology, science, and business. We trust our people with real responsibility and support them in turning ambition into impact — grounded in five core values: team spirit, trust, openness, ambition, and execution.

• Ambition, encouraged through ownership and continuous learning.
• Execution — we focus on delivering solutions that work in practice.
• Openness — your ideas are heard, challenged constructively, and supported as you grow.
• Flexible ways of working, built on trust, autonomy, and balance.
• The opportunity to shape a practice, not just staff one.

Alongside this, we offer:

• Support for health and wellbeing, covering physical, mental, and social needs
• Flexible ways of working, built on trust, autonomy, and balance
• Ongoing learning and professional development throughout your career
• A modern work setup, with the tools and equipment needed to do great work
• Recognition of performance and impact, linked to contribution and results
• The opportunity to work on challenges that make a meaningful difference for patients and healthcare systems worldwide
