Senior Backend Engineer, AI Platform (Toqan)

Prosus is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for its internal AI platform, Toqan, in Amsterdam. The role involves building secure, configurable agent runtimes and distributed systems that power agentic AI products across the group. Requires strong Go, AWS, and LLM integration experience.

• Design a new capability for the agent runtime
• Improve how models and tools are orchestrated
• Investigate production reliability issues
• Take an integration from early prototype to a secure, observable service

• Work closely with product, platform and AI colleagues to shape requirements, test ideas and ship them safely
• Improve testing, deployment and observability foundations
