Senior B2B Lead Generation & Sales Development Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced B2B Lead Generation & Sales Development Specialist to support Buildesk’s market expansion across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and other South Indian markets.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in B2B outbound prospecting, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, cold calling, lead qualification, and meeting generation. This is an execution-oriented role for someone who understands professional B2B communication, can engage senior decision-makers, and consistently converts targeted prospect lists into qualified sales meetings.

The candidate will work closely with the regional business development leadership to execute structured outbound campaigns, build a qualified sales pipeline, and support the company's GTM strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. B2B Prospecting & Market Research

• Identify and build targeted prospect databases of real estate developers, builders, channel partners, and relevant businesses.

• Research companies, decision-makers, business requirements, and potential buying opportunities.

• Identify relevant stakeholders, including Managing Directors, CEOs, Directors, Sales Heads, and CRM/ERP decision-makers.

• Segment prospects based on industry, company size, geography, and business relevance.

2. LinkedIn Outreach & Social Selling

• Execute personalized LinkedIn prospecting using professional profiles and appropriate outreach tools.

• Develop connection strategies, first-touch messages, and structured follow-up sequences.

• Engage senior decision-makers through relevant, value-driven communication rather than generic sales pitches.

• Track outreach performance, responses, and meeting conversions.

3. Email Campaigns & Outbound Automation

• Plan and execute targeted B2B email outreach campaigns.

• Build prospect lists, write personalized email sequences, and manage follow-ups.

• Work with email outreach, CRM, prospecting, and automation tools to improve campaign efficiency.

• Monitor deliverability, response rates, positive replies, and qualified meeting conversions.

4. Lead Qualification & Calling

• Conduct outbound calls to qualified prospects and follow up with engaged leads.

• Understand the prospect’s business, current processes, challenges, decision-making authority, and potential requirements.

• Qualify prospects based on ICP fit, business need, buying intent, and readiness for a discussion.

• Maintain professional communication with senior-level stakeholders.

5. Meeting Generation & Handover

• Schedule qualified meetings and product discussions with the regional sales leadership.

• Ensure meetings have a clear business context, relevant stakeholder participation, and a documented qualification summary.

• Maintain accurate CRM records, outreach history, follow-up dates, and meeting outcomes.

• Coordinate meeting confirmations and reduce no-shows through timely follow-ups.

6. Campaign Performance & Reporting

• Track daily outreach activity and weekly campaign performance.

• Analyse conversion rates across prospecting, connection acceptance, email responses, calls, qualification, and meetings booked.

• Experiment with messaging, audience segmentation, and outreach channels to improve results.

• Maintain a clean, measurable, and continuously improving outbound pipeline.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in B2B lead generation, outbound sales development, appointment setting, or sales development representative (SDR/BDR) roles.

• Demonstrated experience generating qualified meetings through LinkedIn, email outreach, and cold calling.

• Strong understanding of B2B sales funnels, ICP identification, buyer personas, and lead qualification.

• Experience with prospecting databases, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email sequencing tools, CRM systems, and outreach automation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior business decision-makers.

• Strong research, follow-up, data management, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage campaigns, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SaaS, enterprise software, PropTech, ERP, CRM, IT services, or other high-value B2B solutions.

• Experience targeting business owners, founders, directors, and CXO-level stakeholders.

• Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lusha, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or equivalent platforms.

• Experience building outbound campaigns for new geographic markets or new GTM initiatives.

Role Expectations

This is not a conventional telecalling or bulk-emailing position. We require someone who can independently execute a structured outbound prospecting process, communicate credibly with senior B2B stakeholders, qualify genuine business opportunities, and generate meaningful meetings for the sales team. The candidate will own the prospecting-to-meeting stage of the sales funnel, while product demonstrations, commercial discussions, negotiations, and closures will be handled by the regional sales leadership.
