About the role

We are looking for an Agile, product-oriented Senior Analytics Engineer to drive our modern data architecture and bridge the gap between raw data and business value.

You will work across data modeling, analytics engineering, and semantic layers, building reliable data products that support digital products and online services. The role has a strong MVP mindset, with a focus on launching data products quickly, iterating based on feedback, and delivering actionable insights for Marketing and Finance teams.

You will work with a modern data stack built around dbt, BigQuery, and Omni Analytics, applying software engineering practices to data pipelines and analytics development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt models in BigQuery, transforming raw data into clean, tested, and documented data marts.
• Deliver MVPs for data reporting and analytics, providing product and business stakeholders with quick answers and iterating based on feedback.
• Own and govern business logic within Omni Analytics or similar modern BI and semantic-layer tools.
• Define and maintain trusted, consistent business metrics across teams.
• Partner with Marketing and Finance to understand digital platform metrics and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Work with metrics such as CAC, LTV, ROI, conversion funnels, retention, and MAUs.
• Apply software engineering best practices to analytics and data pipelines, including Git, automated testing, version control, and CI/CD.
• Optimize SQL queries and data models to support scalable and efficient analytics.
• Contribute to the evolution of the modern data architecture and analytics ecosystem.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or advanced BI roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with dbt and cloud data warehouses.
• Strong experience with BigQuery
• experience with Snowflake or Redshift is also relevant.
• Experience with Omni Analytics is highly desirable.
• Alternatively, strong experience with Looker/LookML, Power BI, or Tableau, with a clear understanding of semantic layers and governed metrics.
• Advanced SQL and query optimization skills.
• Strong data modeling experience, including star schema and OBT approaches.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Understanding of digital products, online services, and high-traffic platform dynamics.
• Experience working with Marketing and/or Finance data is highly desirable.
• Ability to work with an MVP-oriented, product-focused mindset.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to identify innovative solutions to complex challenges.
