·Lead technical POC development and ensure smooth transitions to production.

·Establish best practices for prompt engineering, model selection, and solution architecture.

·Implement simple, pragmatic technical governance - data handling, security basics, and documentation.

·Mentor and guide the AI Developer on technical implementation and best practices.

·Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure solutions meet organizational standards.

·Document architecture, processes, and technical decisions clearly.

·Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies for potential internal use.

Qualifications

·5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML/AI engineering roles.

·Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, including API integrations, prompt engineering, and RAG architecture.

·Proficiency with Python and relevant AI/ML libraries and frameworks.

·Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure AI preferred) and on-premises deployments (containers).

·Familiarity with open-source LLM orchestration tools and self-hosted LLM frontends.

·Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD practices.

·Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

·Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

·Good communication skills—you can explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.

Nice to Have

·Experience with vector databases and embedding strategies.

·Background in OT/IT, industrial automation, or consulting environments.

·Familiarity with AI governance and responsible AI practices.
