The Senior
Accounting Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate and systematic accounting
records of receipts and disbursements within the organization. This role involves
performing complex clerical and bookkeeping tasks while adhering to accepted
procedures for maintaining accounting records.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Managing all finance and accounting operations
• Provide strategic financial guidance to support the business.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local and government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Bank Reconciliation
• Compute Payable report.
• Create and ensure daily targets of cash outlets.
• Credit card chargeback.
• Credit card reconciliation.

Requirements
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the accounting or related field
• Ability to appreciate the complexities involved in controlling and reporting multi-instrument transaction.
• Flexible mindset, able to deal with deliverables and objectives changing at relatively short notice.
