This is an incredible opportunity, and we’d love for you to join us on this journey!

About the role

EdgeTier is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our team. You'll lead the charge in winning new Mid-Market and Enterprise customers by selling to Customer Support and Operations leaders.

You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close, with a focus on developing net new business. You'll take a strategic, considered approach to building pipeline and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder deals. We're looking for someone who brings genuine curiosity to understanding customers' challenges, earns credibility as a trusted advisor, and consistently delivers against ambitious targets. If you think independently and are motivated to challenge conventional approaches, we'd like to hear from you.

This is a hybrid role based in our Dublin office.

What makes this an exciting opportunity

EdgeTier helps some of the most customer-focused organisations transform how they run their contact centres. Our customers see measurable impact, and the strength of those relationships is reflected in how they grow with us.

The market for AI in customer service is accelerating rapidly, and enterprise organisations are actively rethinking how they deliver service. This is an opportunity to join at a pivotal stage, take a leading role in shaping how we win in new markets, and make a significant contribution to EdgeTier's next phase of growth.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Account Executive, you'll own your pipeline from first conversation to close. No two days will be the same, but your typical responsibilities will be to:

• Drive new business growth across a new frontier, acting as a trusted advisor and building strong rapport from the first interaction to gain a clear understanding of each prospect’s business priorities and objectives

• Articulate EdgeTier's value proposition clearly and credibly, demonstrating how our platform addresses the specific challenges facing each prospect.

• Develop tailored sales approach aligned with EdgeTier's wider go-to-market strategy, mapping and engaging key decision-makers, buying processes, regional considerations and existing technology investments.

• Continuously refine outbound messaging and approach, with the majority of new opportunities generated through self-sourced pipeline.

• Deliver compelling product demos and handle initial technical discussions with confidence, including proof-of-concept planning engagements.

• Manage and progress complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, leading commercial negotiations through to the close.

• Represent EdgeTier as a brand ambassador in the market, building our profile through industry events, thought leadership, and a professional online presence.

• Working closely with Sales Development, marketing, and solutions colleagues to build strategies that deliver value to customer service and operations leaders

Who you are

You're a driven self-starter who takes ownership of your own success and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You have a proven record of winning new business in complex B2B SaaS sales, including experience selling transformational solutions where the budget isn't already defined and you need to build the business case from the ground up. You'll be well suited to the role if you bring:

• 5+ years of experience as an Account Executive in a scaling B2B SaaS environment, ideally selling complex solutions to Mid-Market to Enterprise organisations (500+ employees), with experience building a greenfield territory.

• A strong track record exceeding revenue targets, including consistently closing multiple six-figure deals. Ideally selling into Customer Support, CX, or Operations teams.

• Demonstrated ability to multithread deals and build relationships with stakeholders at different levels, including C-suite executives and senior leaders.

• A team player mentality with high integrity, resilience, and a strong sense of urgency, demonstrated through honest forecasting, prompt follow-throughs, and persistence in progressing deals.

• Experience selling conversation intelligence, CX analytics, AI, or contact centre technology, with an understanding of the operational challenges facing customer service leaders (desirable)
