Meet the Team

The Enterprise Networking Security Policy Access (SPA) Dev team, the driving force behind Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), is the frontline defense for modern enterprise networks. We engineer highly scalable, resilient solutions that define and enforce rigorous security policies across complex, distributed network environments. By embedding advanced zero-trust principles and robust network security protocols into our architecture, we ensure that users and devices connect safely against an evolving threat landscape. We are a collaborative, forward-thinking group dedicated to solving the industry's toughest network security challenges. Join us to architect the future of secure enterprise connectivity and protect our customers' most critical assets.

Your Impact

As a "Security Software Engineer Technical Leader", you will architect and develop software that places network security and user experience at its core, consistent with Cisco’s Design Thinking Principles. You will lead the technical design of complex, secure network access features for ISE, utilizing your deep expertise in systems programming (C, C++, or Java) to build resilient codebases. Your work will directly fortify our network defenses through rigorous threat modeling, secure coding practices, and the implementation of advanced cryptography, including TLS internals and Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC). By championing agile engineering, leveraging AI coding tools, and mentoring your peers, you will drive continuous innovation in how we secure enterprise networks globally
