Security Officer

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers.
• Conducting regular security patrols and monitoring site access to protect people, property, and assets.
• Managing gatehouse operations, visitor bookings, and access control procedures.
• Monitoring CCTV, alarms, and security equipment, responding to incidents as required.
• Supporting health and safety procedures, emergency evacuations, and site searches.
• Preventing crime, loss, damage, and disruption through proactive vigilance.
• Completing accurate reports, incident logs, records, and shift handovers.
• Ensuring compliance with site regulations, security procedures, and customer requirements.

Please note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role. If you meet the minimum requirements and believe you’ve got what it takes to succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
