SAP S/4HANA Support Analyst

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused ERP SAP S/4HANA Support Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ERP professional with SAP experience who is looking to further develop their career supporting enterprise systems that underpin key business operations.

Working alongside experienced SAP functional consultants, ICT professionals, and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing SAP S/4HANA and associated enterprise applications across Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and other corporate functions.

About the Role

As an ERP SAP S/4HANA Support Analyst, you will provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support while helping drive system reliability, user satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll gain hands-on exposure to complex enterprise environments and contribute to system upgrades, enhancements, and business transformation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for SAP S/4HANA and integrated business applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, service requests, and application issues.
• Monitor support queues and ensure timely resolution of tickets within agreed SLAs.
• Escalate complex issues to senior consultants and application support teams as required.
• Assist with root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions for recurring issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of support activities.
• Develop and update SOPs, knowledge articles, user guides, and support documentation.
• Support system monitoring, upgrades, releases, and change deployments.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand issues and provide regular updates.
• Participate in user training, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and business readiness activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, system usability, and support efficiency.
• Contribute to ICT operational planning, risk management, and implementation readiness activities.
• Participate in after-hours support when required.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in ERP application support, IT Service Desk, or business systems administration.
• Exposure to SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Understanding of SAP modules and/or SAP integration technologies.
• Experience working within ITIL Service Management frameworks, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, SpiraPlan, or similar service management tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience supporting ERP systems within the Defence sector is highly desirable.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• SAP certifications will be highly regarded.
