Salesforce Pre-Sales Architect

At Horizontal Digital, we hold ourselves to one key belief: You’re only as good as your worst customer experience. This mantra is what drives our digital consultancy to think beyond the easy answers and instead create websites, apps, portals and other experiences that solve customer needs for Fortune 500 companies in intuitive and empathetic ways. And we make this lofty standard a reality by fusing strategy, data, design and technology together to arrive at solutions that set the bar higher for everyone.

We use these values to fuel superior results:

Lock arms
We forge relationships that make our impact 1,000x stronger. This means working across departments and engaging both our clients and our communities to deliver the greatest good.

Show hustle
We’re not ones to sit on our hands and wait. Instead, we anticipate opportunities, collectively roll up our sleeves and find ways to execute the exceptional.

Embrace change
From new technologies to workplace philosophies, we welcome the unexpected and constantly anticipate what’s next.

Elevate empathy
We listen before we take action. This means understanding a variety of perspectives and holding ourselves to a higher standard of accountability.

Never settle
We motivate each other to push past the easy answers and collectively arrive at bigger, more inspiring ideas.

But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.

As a Presales Solution Architect – Salesforce, you’ll act as the technical seller and trusted advisor in strategic enterprise engagements across Salesforce’s ecosystem — including Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, and Data Clouds.

You’ll partner closely with Horizontal’s sales and delivery teams to lead pre-sales, define cross-cloud architectures, and translate business objectives into scalable Salesforce solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

You’ll balance 50% sales and strategy with 50% technical delivery oversight, owning and co-ordinating the full solution lifecycle from pre-sale to client success.

• Lead solution design during new business pursuits, working hand-in-hand with Sales to shape deals and position Horizontal as the preferred Salesforce partner.
• Translate complex business challenges into cross-cloud Salesforce solutions (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data, Analytics, and Industry Clouds).
• Conduct discovery and architecture workshops with C-level and senior stakeholders, identifying transformation opportunities and value realization paths.
• Craft technical solution narratives and visual architectures for RFPs and client presentations.
• Clearly articulate Horizontal Digital’s Salesforce capabilities, offerings, and differentiators through demos, proposals, and proof-of-concepts.
• Support go-to-market (GTM) campaigns and practice growth through thought leadership and enablement on emerging Salesforce technologies.
• Serve as a bridge between pre-sales and delivery, ensuring the proposed architecture is achievable, scalable, and outcome-driven.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects, Data Architects, and Integration teams to align solution components and reduce risk.
• Guide clients through best practices, balancing innovation with operational stability.

What You Bring
