About the role
CMAX Clinical Research is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day management, enhancement and optimisation of our Salesforce platform.
Working closely with teams across CMAX, you will play a key role in ensuring our Salesforce environment is reliable, secure, user-friendly and aligned with our evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer Salesforce users, profiles, roles, permissions and licenses;
Build and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts and configurations;
Design, build and maintain workflows and automation using Salesforce Flow;
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data insights to support business decision-making;
Monitor platform performance and conduct regular system reviews and audits;
Work with internal stakeholders, vendors and project teams to deliver system enhancements and improvements;
Provide support, guidance and training to Salesforce users across CMAX;
Maintain high standards of data quality, integrity, security and governance;
Assist with data migration, cleansing and ongoing data management activities;
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and the overall Salesforce user experience;
Ensure Salesforce configuration and processes align with best practice, organisational requirements and compliance standards;
Support pipeline management and reporting requirements across the business.
Essential skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) – essential;
Demonstrated experience administering and supporting Salesforce platforms;
Strong knowledge and practical experience with Salesforce Flow and platform automation;
Experience developing Salesforce reports, dashboards and data solutions;
Experience working with Jira, Confluence and data management tools;
Strong understanding of data quality, security and governance principles;
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying solutions;
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams;
Experience with pipeline management and CRM processes will be highly regarded;
A continuous improvement mindset and a genuine interest in making systems work better for the people who use them;
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence working with study tracking tools, spreadsheets and study-related documentation;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, investigate, escalate and support resolution of complex data issues;
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work to tight deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
Proven ability to accurately track study or project activities, milestones and data deliverables and provide timely updates to management;
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal staff and stakeholders;
Sound interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and provide day-to-day support and guidance to less experienced staff;
Commitment to maintaining data integrity, participant confidentiality and data security.
