About the Role

Meshy is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to help lead and scale our managed sales team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone excited about building a high-performing sales organization around a rapidly growing generative AI product and market.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a team of quota-carrying sellers, driving revenue performance, and helping build a repeatable and scalable sales motion. The Sales Manager will coach the team across prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, and closing while maintaining strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.

This is a player-coach role that requires both strong sales leadership and the ability to engage directly with customers when needed. The Sales Manager will work closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and other teams to bring customer and market insights back into the business and help shape Meshy’s go-to-market strategy.

The ideal candidate can credibly articulate the value of Meshy’s products to a diverse set of customers and partners, including artists, developers, technical leaders, and executives.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of quota-carrying sales professionals to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.

• Own team-level revenue targets, pipeline health, forecasting, and overall sales performance.

• Establish clear expectations, operating rhythms, and accountability across the sales team.

• Coach sellers throughout the sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, demos, business cases, negotiation, and closing.

• Help build and refine a repeatable sales process as Meshy scales its go-to-market organization.

• Partner with sellers on strategic and complex opportunities and engage directly with customers when appropriate.

• Ensure the team develops strong relationships across our core segments — game studios, 3D printing and additive manufacturing, consumer products and e-commerce, animation and VFX — and positions Meshy as an indispensable tool from concepting and prototyping through production and manufacturing.

• Maintain accurate forecasts and provide clear visibility into pipeline, risks, opportunities, and performance.

• Help recruit, onboard, and develop new members of the sales organization.

• Represent Meshy with customers and at industry events and conferences.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and other teams on go-to-market priorities.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and product development.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant sales or business development experience, ideally including time in games, animation, 3D software, 3D printing / additive manufacturing, developer tools, or emerging technology.

• 2+ years of experience managing and developing quota-carrying sales professionals.

• Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding individual and team revenue targets.

• Strong coaching skills and the ability to improve seller performance across different stages of the sales cycle.

• Experience managing pipeline, forecasting, and sales performance with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.

• Experience building or scaling an early-stage sales team or go-to-market motion.

• Experience selling SaaS, developer tools, creative software, or AI products.

• Experience leading a team selling usage-, credit-, or consumption-based products, including coaching sellers on expansion and consumption growth within existing accounts.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup environment and build processes while continuing to execute.

• Technical aptitude to understand and demonstrate Meshy’s products and engage credibly on concepts related to generative AI and 3D creation.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with artists, developers, technical stakeholders, and executives.

• Ability to work independently and lead with integrity, trust, and accountability.
