Sales Manager / Business Development Leader

SALES MANAGER / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEADER

Paradise Power Company, Inc. | New Mexico

A Leadership Opportunity to Help Build the Next 10 Years of Paradise Power and Beyond

THE OPPORTUNITY

Paradise Power is looking for more than a traditional Sales Manager. We are looking for a seasoned, driven sales professional who wants to help shape a company’s future—not simply manage a sales quota. This is an opportunity for the right leader to build the sales organization, market strategy, customer relationships and growth engines that will carry Paradise Power Company beyond the next 10 years.

The ideal candidate has enough experience to know what works, enough entrepreneurial drive to build what does not yet exist, and the leadership ability to turn strategy into results. You will have meaningful influence over where we compete, who we serve, how we sell, how we develop our people and how we build lasting customer relationships.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

This is a chance to leave a mark. We are looking for someone who wants to look back five or ten years from now and know they helped build something larger, stronger and more valuable than what existed when they arrived.

If you are an experienced sales leader who is energized by building—not maintaining—who wants a meaningful seat at the table and wants to help define the future direction of a growing energy company, this role is designed for you.

WHAT YOU WILL BUILD

• Build and lead a high-performance Sales organization.
• Develop long-term sales strategy and translate it into annual, quarterly and monthly execution plans.
• Create a repeatable sales engine with disciplined prospecting, qualification, pipeline management, forecasting and closing.
• Develop strategic accounts across commercial, government, municipal, education and fleet markets.
• Personally pursue and close major opportunities while developing the team to do the same.
• Expand Paradise Power’s position in commercial solar, EV charging, fleet electrification, energy storage, microgrids and resiliency solutions.
• Build strategic relationships with customers, developers, engineering firms, utilities, public agencies and industry partners.
• Help determine the markets, services and recurring-revenue opportunities that become the foundation of the company’s next decade.
• Build workflow with Project Team, Estimating, Engineering, and Executive Leadership so growth is profitable, executable and aligned with capacity.
• Recruit, coach, develop and retain sales talent capable of growing with the company.

THE LEADER WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 10+ years of progressive B2B sales, business development or sales leadership experience preferred, particularly in energy, construction, electrical, infrastructure, technology or complex-project environments.
• Proven record of personally selling complex, high-value solutions—not simply managing other sellers.
• Builder mentality: you enjoy creating markets, processes, relationships and teams where opportunity exists.
• Strategic thinker who can see beyond the current year and build a practical 3-, 5- and 10-year growth path.
• Comfortable selling to executives, government leaders, municipalities, school districts, fleet operators and commercial decision-makers.
• Strong financial and commercial judgment, including margin, project risk, customer value and sales economics.
• Natural coach and leader who earns accountability through credibility, consistency and example.
• Excellent communicator, negotiator and relationship builder who represents the company with professionalism.
• High-ownership mindset: sees problems, takes action and follows through without waiting to be directed.

OUR BUSINESS — AND WHERE WE ARE GOING

Paradise Power is creating sustainable energy solutions at the intersection of renewable energy and electrification. Our opportunity is larger than selling individual projects. We want to build long-term customer relationships around commercial solar, EV charging, fleet electrification, energy storage, and resiliency.

The Sales Manager will help evolve Paradise Power from a project-by-project sales organization into a durable business-development platform with strategic accounts, repeat customers, government relationships, partnerships and recurring opportunities.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR NEXT SALES LEADER

• Think like an owner.
• Sell like a professional.
• Lead by example.
• Build relationships that compound.
• Develop people, not just numbers.
• Create systems that scale.
• Protect the customer relationship and the company’s reputation.
• Build for the next decade—not just the next quarter.
