Role Intent

This is not a sales-closing role.

This role exists to build the operational backbone of sales — the systems, data, and processes that allow revenue to scale sustainably.

You will work closely with founders and senior leaders, not as an observer, but as a builder of how sales actually work inside the company.

Over time, this role is expected to grow into a Sales Operations Lead position, supporting multiple revenue owners and shaping how decisions are made.

Core Responsibilities (Today)

1. Sales Operations & Systems

• Own and maintain the sales CRM (Zoho) across all channels

• Ensure data discipline: pipeline hygiene, stage definitions, reporting accuracy

• Design and document sales workflows for:

• D2C

• B2B

• Events

• Partnerships

• Build dashboards and reports that make sales performance visible and actionable

  2. Revenue Enablement

• Support sales follow-ups, customer communication, and coordination

• Work closely with founders and Sales Lead to remove friction from the sales process

• Ensure smooth handoffs between sales, operations, and production teams

3. D2C & Experimentation

• Execute and analyse D2C initiatives (WhatsApp marketing, repeat purchase programs, campaigns)

• Track experiments, interpret results, and recommend improvements

• Build learnings into repeatable processes

4. Documentation & Knowledge Building

• Create SOPs, playbooks, and internal documentation

• Ensure learnings are captured, not lost

• Contribute to cross-functional process improvement discussions

5. AI & Modern Tools (Non-Negotiable)

• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, automation tools, analytics tools) to:

• Improve productivity

• Analyse data

• Structure documentation and communication

• Stay curious and proactive about new tools and workflows

How This Role Grows (12–24 months)

As the company scales, this role is expected to:

• Evolve into Sales Operations Lead

• Support multiple revenue owners across channels

• Provide strategic sales insights to founders and leadership

• Influence forecasting, capacity planning, and channel prioritisation

• Potentially mentor or guide junior operations resources

This is a long-term capability role, not a stepping stone.

What Success Looks Like

By 6–9 months:

• Sales data is reliable, structured, and decision-ready

• Founders spend significantly less time on manual coordination

• Sales execution feels calmer, clearer, and more predictable

By 18–24 months:

• Sales operations run independently of individuals

• Leadership decisions are informed by strong sales insights

• You are recognised internally as the owner of sales operations

Who This Role Is For

• Early-career professionals who enjoy building systems

• People who take pride in behind-the-scenes impact

• Calm, grounded individuals who value depth over speed

• Strong communicators with high ownership

• Candidates excited by AI, tools, and continuous improvement

Who Should Not Apply

• Candidates seeking a pure sale or closing role

• Those looking for remote-first work

• Frequent job-hoppers

• People motivated primarily by titles or rapid promotion

A Note from the Founder

At BeWild, we are building a company with depth and integrity—one that respects land, people, and craft, and is designed to last.

We value people who take ownership of real work, who are comfortable with learning curves, and who care about how things are built, not just quick outcomes. You’ll work closely with founders and senior leaders, which means high standards, direct feedback, and a strong sense of responsibility—without ego or unnecessary pressure.

We don’t over-promise titles or rush growth for optics. We prefer steady progress, clear thinking, and long-term alignment.

If you’re looking for a place to do meaningful work, grow with intention, and build something you can stand behind, you may feel at home here. If you’re seeking rapid titles or a fully defined role from day one, this may not be the right fit—and that’s okay.
