R22,000 – R30,000 CTC per month, depending on experience
Permanent | Office-Based / External Client-Facing Sales

An established and growing business technology solutions provider based in Century City is expanding its sales division and is looking for five experienced, energetic and highly driven Sales Executives / New Business Account Managers.

The company provides businesses with a broad range of integrated workplace technology solutions, including office automation and managed print solutions, telecommunications, connectivity, IT services, computers, CCTV and security solutions, video conferencing, office consumables and alternative energy solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded salesperson who enjoys prospecting, opening doors, meeting clients, identifying business needs and putting together solutions that genuinely add value to a customer's business.

This is not a retail or order-taking sales position. We are looking for candidates with proven B2B solution-selling experience, preferably within office automation or a closely related technology environment.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for developing new business and growing a portfolio of corporate and SME clients across the Cape Town market.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Actively identifying and pursuing new B2B sales opportunities.
• Conducting cold calling, prospecting, networking and other business-development activities.
• Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospective customers.
• Securing appointments with business owners, decision-makers and relevant stakeholders.
• Meeting clients face-to-face to understand their current business environment, challenges and technology requirements.
• Conducting effective needs analyses and solution-based sales discussions.
• Identifying opportunities across a range of business technology products and services.
• Recommending appropriate solutions based on the client's operational and commercial requirements.
• Preparing and presenting professional quotations, proposals and solutions.
• Managing opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial engagement through to negotiation and closing.
• Negotiating effectively while protecting commercial value and profitability.
• Achieving and exceeding agreed monthly sales targets.
• Developing strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Identifying cross-selling and additional revenue opportunities within accounts.
• Maintaining accurate records of prospects, appointments, opportunities and pipeline activity.
• Providing regular sales forecasts and activity reporting.
• Working closely with internal technical, administrative and service teams to ensure a professional customer experience.
• Remaining informed about market developments, competitor offerings and emerging business technology solutions.
• Representing the organisation professionally when visiting customers and prospects.
