Sales Executive, Ireland (Hybrid & Field-Based)

Who we are

CameraMatics helps fleets run safer and smarter. We’re on a mission to transform how fleets operate, using cutting-edge camera technology, AI, machine learning and telematics to make roads safer and businesses smarter.

When a driver gets home safely, or a fleet manager spends less time buried in paperwork, that’s the difference our technology can make.

We’re a fast growing international SaaS business, and we’re looking for someone who wants to help us grow across Ireland while building a sales career of their own.

The role

As a Sales Executive, you’ll have the opportunity to build a career from the ground up. You don’t need years of sales experience, an established network or a book of contacts. You do need curiosity, determination and the ambition to become very good at sales.

This is an opportunity to learn by doing, with coaching from experienced salespeople, time alongside our leadership team and involvement in real customer opportunities. You’ll learn how to open conversations, understand customer challenges, build relationships and close deals.

This is a hands-on role - You’ll spend time speaking with fleet operators and visiting the depots, yards and sites where our customers work. You’ll build your own pipeline, take ownership of your results and learn from the deals you win and the ones you don’t.

This is a remote role based within the Republic of Ireland, with travel to customer sites and in-person meetings.

What you'll do

• Find and open conversations with fleet operators who don’t know us yet.

• Build your own sales pipeline and develop relationships with prospective customers.

• Get out on site and meet the people who run depots, yards and fleets.

• Learn our products well enough to recognise customer challenges and explain how we can help.

• Work alongside experienced salespeople and leadership team members on live opportunities, developing the skills to progress and close deals.

• Use Salesforce and AI tools to research prospects, prepare for meetings and manage your pipeline.

• Take ownership of your activity, targets and results, using coaching and feedback to improve.

What we're looking for

Essential

• A genuine interest in building a career in sales, with the motivation to put what you learn into practice.

• Confidence talking to different people, from a depot manager to a managing director, and a willingness to listen.

• Resilience: you can hear “no”, learn from it and come back with a better approach.

• Curiosity about how businesses work and the problems customers need to solve.

• The ability to organise your time, follow through on commitments and ask for help when you need it.

• Comfort using technology and a willingness to learn new systems and tools.

• A full clean driving licence.

Desirable

• A keen interest in business operations, cars and commercial fleets.

• Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot, or AI tools for research, organisation or productivity.

• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales or another customer-facing role.

• Experience of running a side business, selling something online or taking on a challenging project.

These are useful starting points, not prerequisites. We’re interested in what you’ve learned and how you approach things.

You don’t need a traditional sales background or a specific degree. What matters is your attitude, curiosity, resilience and willingness to improve.

Why join CameraMatics?

• Real training on real deals: Learn through live customer opportunities, with practical coaching and feedback from experienced sales professionals.

• Time with leadership: Shadow senior team members in customer meetings and see how larger opportunities develop and decisions get made.

• Career progression: Build your skills, take on more responsibility and grow within the business as you demonstrate your ability.

• Modern tools: Use Salesforce and AI to prepare well, reduce admin and spend more time talking to customers.

• Visibility: In a growing business, your contribution is visible and good work gets noticed.

• Meaningful impact: Help the businesses that keep the country moving improve safety and operate more efficiently.
