Sales Executive

Do you want to develop customers, grow business and build your career in sales in a fast-moving international software company?

At IMI, we help more than 400 customers optimise and future-proof mission-critical supply chain operations through our business-critical software suite, supporting leading organisations across retail, wholesale, e-commerce and logistics. We are now looking for a Sales Executive to join our sales team.

The focus in this role will be to strengthen customer relationships, understand evolving business needs, identify and qualify opportunities, and drive the full sales cycle, expanding both the partnership and the value customers gain from IMI's solutions and services.

The role offers meaningful commercial ownership from day one, with support from experienced colleagues across sales, consulting, customer success, product, support and delivery.

About the Role

In this role, you will manage and develop a portfolio of existing customers in the mid- to lower enterprise segment and primarily in Sweden. You will be their primary commercial contact and build a clear understanding of their operations, priorities and future needs.

You will create account plans, coordinate commercial activities and drive cross-selling, upselling and broader adoption of IMI's solutions. The role combines customer care, relationship building and commercial responsibility with a high degree of autonomy.

We believe you will succeed if you bring previous software sales experience, strong relationship-building skills and the drive to create long-term customer value and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a primarily Swedish portfolio of established customers in the mid- to lower enterprise segment

• Build trusted relationships and act as the primary commercial contact

• Translate customer goals and operational needs into relevant commercial opportunities

• Drive cross-selling, upselling and broader adoption of IMI's solutions

• Maintain account plans, opportunity overviews and clear next steps

• Lead commercial discussions through from qualification to signed agreements

• Coordinate internal specialists and share customer insight to support continued improvement

Your Profile

We are looking for a commercially minded, relationship-oriented sales professional who enjoys developing customers, finding opportunities and moving commercial discussions forward.

You work in a structured way, follow through on commitments and build trust through responsiveness and sound judgement. You enjoy taking responsibility independently while collaborating closely with colleagues and specialists.

Your attitude, dedication and ability to contribute to the IMI Dream Team are important to us. Winning as ONE TEAM is key to IMI's continued growth journey and expansion.

We Believe You Have:

• A few years of experience in B2B sales, account management, customer success and/or another customer-facing commercial role

• Interest in building customer relationships and turning needs into business value

• A proactive, structured and customer-focused approach with commercial drive

• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies, such as MEDDIC/MEDDICC or equivalent

• Fluency in Swedish and English

Experience from supply chain, logistics, warehouse management, retail technology, automation or enterprise software/SaaS solutions is considered a strong advantage.

The position is based in Sweden, primarily in a hybrid or office-based setup, with some travel required as part of the role.

Why IMI?

Joining IMI means becoming part of a company with a strong market position, an established customer base and ambitious plans for the future. In this role, you will work with business-critical solutions and take on commercial responsibility from day one, playing a visible part in continued growth within the Swedish customer base.

At IMI, engaged people are trusted to take responsibility, encouraged to contribute with their own ideas and supported by experienced colleagues across the business. You will be part of an entrepreneurial culture where initiative, accountability and collaboration are valued, and where there are opportunities to grow in a company that actively works to identify and develop talent.

The role also includes a competitive salary and benefits package. IMI is Great Place To Work certified and offers a workplace characterised by trust, responsibility, strong team spirit and continuous development.
