Sales Development Representative

FreySoft is a software engineering company focused on regulated fintech, payments, and data-intensive platforms. We build API and platform integrations, data engineering solutions, and AI & automation systems, delivered as fixed-scope, fixed-price projects.

About the role.
We are looking for a Founding Sales Lead to help us build and prove new, repeatable channels for acquiring clients. This is a role with ownership and autonomy. In the first stage, you will be personally involved in developing the sales pipeline and taking opportunities through the sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract signature, while helping shape and improve the sales process along the way.

What you'll do
Build and test channel hypotheses — cold outbound, partner intros, industry conferences — prioritize them yourself and defend the priority to the founder.
Develop and prioritise sales channels across outbound, your own network, partnerships, and industry events; test new approaches and make informed decisions about what to continue, adapt, or stop.
Identify target accounts within our ICP and build a qualified pipeline through cold and semi-cold outreach, with an initial focus on fintech, regtech, payments, and adjacent regulated industries.
Lead the sales process from initial conversation to contract signature, including discovery, qualification, proposals, negotiations, and follow-ups.
Run discovery conversations with technical decision-makers, including CTOs and VP Engineering, and involve delivery or technical specialists when needed to assess the opportunity and scope.
Prepare and support client conversations with the founder, providing a concise account brief, hypothesis around the client's needs, conversation objective, and desired next step.
Own opportunity progression between meetings, including follow-ups, re-engagement, CRM management, and maintaining clear visibility across all active opportunities.
Own the commercial side of opportunities, including commercial positioning, negotiation, and terms, within the company's delivery and pricing framework; ensure a smooth transition to delivery after signature.
Track and report sales performance, including pipeline, forecasting, channel performance, and key learnings, and turn those learnings into a practical, repeatable sales playbook.
Attend and represent the company at international industry events, building professional relationships and creating new sales opportunities.

Experience we're looking for:
Experience selling IT outsourcing, custom software development, engineering services, or similar professional services.
A track record of independently creating and developing new business.
Personally opened and closed at least 3 deals sourced through cold or semi-cold outreach, from initial contact through contract signature.
Experience owning the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract signature.
Personal experience generating opportunities through cold or semi-cold outreach.
Strong pipeline and follow-up discipline across multiple active opportunities.
Solid understanding of CRM and core sales metrics, including pipeline, conversion, sales cycle, average deal size, and forecasting.
The ability to run a meaningful discovery conversation with a technical buyer and understand when to involve engineering specialists.
Fluent English — C1+.

Nice to have
Existing relationships or network in fintech, regtech, payments, or adjacent regulated industries.
Engineering or technical background.
Experience representing a company at international industry conferences and events.

How success is measured
By Month 3: a qualified sales pipeline is established and all active opportunities are clearly tracked in CRM.
By Month 6: the first new client is signed, demonstrating that the sales channel is working.
Ongoing: the agreed activity plan is consistently maintained, with clear visibility into pipeline progress and sales performance.

Why this role may be a great fit
High ownership — your work will directly influence how our sales channel develops.
Direct access to the founder and involvement in meaningful commercial decisions.
The opportunity to test ideas, learn from the market, and build a sales motion that works, rather than simply operate an established process.
Exposure to technically interesting projects across fintech, payments, and data-intensive environments.
Potential to expand your scope and contribute to building a sales team once the model is proven.
Fully remote work.
Fixed compensation plus performance-based commission with no artificial earning ceiling.
Professional development and support for relevant industry events.
