Sales Development Representative (B2B SaaS)

About DAKCS

DAKCS is a 40-year industry veteran in accounts receivable management and collection software. Collecting payments is an integral part of any business, but it can be tedious, time-consuming, and expensive. Our B2B SaaS solutions leverage artificial intelligence and four decades-worth of data to streamline overdue collections through automation and consumer self-service. We are a small, tight-knit team that values a human approach to relationships. We provide a stable, engaging environment where your voice carries weight. We take pride in a workspace built on mutual respect and genuine employee appreciation—which is why we’ve been named a Top Workplace in Utah.

What You’ll Do

• Hunt and Self-Generate: Proactively prospect and build pipeline through high-volume outbound outreach. You won't sit around waiting for inbound leads—you take control of your activity and lead volume.
• Master Creative Prospecting: Combine traditional outbound channels (cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn) with bold, non-traditional outreach methods to stand out and gain attention.
• Book Meetings & Resolve Objections: Seamlessly address initial prospect hesitation, reframe objections into curiosity, and turn "not interested" or “send me an email” into booked discovery meetings with zero fear of rejection.
• Maintain CRM & Pipeline Hygiene: Track outreach, lead statuses, and key account details within our modern tech stack to ensure smooth team collaboration and consistent follow-ups.

What We Need

• Hunger & Drive: Entry-level to 2 years of experience in sales, outbound prospecting, or customer-facing roles with a proven desire to launch a high-growth career in B2B SaaS sales.
• Relentless Grit and Rejection Immunity: Unshakeable stamina, an extraordinary work ethic, and the ability to convert initial friction or rejection into daily momentum.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate value quickly over the phone, write clear personalized emails, and gain attention within the first 10 seconds of a cold outreach call.
• Technical Fluency: Ability to quickly understand modern software features and translate technical capabilities into simple, everyday value for non-technical buyers.
• Smart Tool Adoption: Aptitude for leveraging modern AI tools, CRM platforms, and sales engagement technology to work faster, while keeping a high-touch, human approach at the core of your outreach.
• Quota Comfort: Thrives under performance expectations, brings high energy to daily activity goals, and actively seeks constructive coaching to continuously level up.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Competitive Athletics Background: Former high school, Division I, or Division II collegiate athlete who thrives on competition, accountability, and team success.
• The "Mamba Mentality": Inspired by Kobe Bryant's relentless work ethic and obsession with continuous improvement—you read sales and personal development books, listen to sales podcasts, and constantly refine your pitch. (Negative points though if you actually cheer for the Lakers...)
• The 5 AM Club: Early-risers who bring high discipline, structure, and intentionality to their daily routine before the day even starts.
• Tech/AI Enthusiast: Early adopter who loves testing new tools, prompt engineering, and finding innovative ways to automate manual sales workflows.
• Extreme Ownership Mentality: You don't blame others, lead lists, or timing. You own your activity, your output, and your results.
