Sales Development Representative (Austin, TX - In Office)

🔥 The Role: Sales Development Representative

Are you the hardest worker on your sales team, and tired of a paycheck that doesn't match your effort?

Good. Keep reading.

Our best Sales Development Reps earn $110,000 to $140,000 a year, and the top performers keep climbing from there. They didn't walk in with perfect resumes. They walked in hungry, outworked everyone, and got paid for it.

selfpublishing.com helps people write and publish books that grow their business and their impact. We generate 400+ leads every day from people who already raised their hand. Your job: call them, learn their story, and book them a strategy call with one of our Publishing Strategists.

🛠️ What You'll Do

• Call warm leads who opted in to our free trainings, challenges and books (no cold calling lists of strangers)
• Have real conversations: what they want to write, why it matters, and what has been stopping them
• Book qualified strategy calls for our Publishing Strategists
• Track every call in our CRM and get sharper every week with daily coaching and call reviews
• Earn a spot at live events, where our top SDRs book appointments in person

⚡ How You Ramp

• Week 1: learn the playbook and get your reps in on the phone
• Week 2: you're live on inbound leads, with daily Q&A and 3 to 5 call reviews a week
• Our fastest recent SDR booked $212,000 in sales in his first 70 days. That's the bar.

🚀 This Is For You If...

• You're in sales right now (door to door, retail, car sales, solar, pest control, phones, outbound, anything with a leaderboard) and you're usually near the top of it
• You've sold something hard, in volume, in the last 24 months
• You'd rather make 100 more dials than make one excuse
• You love being coached and you actually use the feedback
• You want a real path to more money, not a desk job

📈 Requirements

• 1+ year in a sales role with a number attached to it (quota, leaderboard, commission)
• Live in the Austin area, or move here before your start date
• Work in person, full time, at our Westlake office
• Comfortable on the phone all day and great with people

💰 What You'll Earn

• Base salary: $35,000
• On target earnings, year 1: $80,000 to $140,000 (uncapped commission)
• Top SDRs earn $110,000 to $140,000+ a year
• Path to Account Executive, where our reps earn $150,000 to $400,000+
• We promote from within. This seat is how we build the next generation of our sales team.

🚫 This Is NOT For You If...

• You want to coast
• You hate the phone
• You need someone to motivate you every morning
