An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Application Physicist to join our growing APAC team.
This is a highly customer-facing role combining medical physics expertise, clinical applications, technical support and product education. You’ll work closely with customers and distributors across the region, with a particular focus on Australia and other key APAC markets, helping customers successfully understand, implement and use our products and solutions.
The position is based in Australia and involves significant regional travel, including customer site visits, workshops, demonstrations, conferences and training activities. The role requires travel of up to 60%, with the requisition indicating an average of approximately two weeks per month.
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide expert technical and clinical support to customers across APAC
Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, workshops and technical training
Respond to customer enquiries and help resolve product application, compatibility, operation and maintenance-related concerns
Work closely with clinical physicists to deliver tailored, high-level technical training where required
Support distributors across APAC with site visits, webinars, workshops, tender submissions and technical queries
Identify customer needs and coordinate with internal teams to deliver effective solutions
Develop strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
Provide product feedback and collaborate with global colleagues to share best practice and improve processes
Support sales and marketing channels with technical training and expertise
Attend relevant conferences and trade shows across the region
What We’re Looking For
BSc or MSc in Medical Physics, Dosimetry or a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience
Strong technical aptitude and confidence learning new technologies and industry standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation and training skills, whether face-to-face or remotely
The ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams effectively
A self-motivated, organised and detail-focused approach
Previous experience providing technical training, education or support within a professional or academic environment would be advantageous
Fluent English and a willingness to travel extensively throughout APAC
