Safety Manager

Complete Fence is a family and veteran-owned fencing contractor founded in 1976, based in Batavia, IL servicing nation-wide customers. We install fences for commercial, and industrial customers, with projects across the country, including data centers, solar facilities, and high-security sites. For 50 years we have built our reputation on quality craftsmanship and a people-first approach.

Our crews are out on job sites every day working around heavy equipment, vehicles, and changing conditions, and how safely they get through each day depends a great deal on the standards, training, and culture that this role puts in place. As the company grows, our need for a dedicated role to further build out and implement our Safety Program has grown too, this is where you come in!

About the role

Safety on a job site is critical, as is the culture that drives it, and that is exactly what you would be responsible for. You would own the safety function from end to end, writing the program, setting the standards, and building the systems that keep every crew, every job site, and every driver working safely and in line with OSHA and customer requirements, while the Field Safety Specialists work under your guidance to put those standards into practice in the field every day.

This role is for someone who wants to build a program from the ground up rather than just maintain one that already exists, and who is just as comfortable writing policy as they are walking a job site to see whether the program they built is living and breathing.
