SAFETY COORDINATOR
PAY: $60-$70,000/yr
LOCATION: 77065
SHIFT: FIRST AND SECOND AVAILABLE!
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to promote a safe and compliant work environment. This role is responsible for monitoring workplace safety in a manufacturing setting, conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor operations for compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Conduct facility inspections and safety audits to identify and correct hazards
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns and recommend corrective actions
- Provide safety training, guidance, and coaching to employees
- Ensure proper PPE use and safe work practices
- Maintain safety records, reports, and required documentation
- Assist with emergency response and communicate safety concerns to management
Qualifications
- Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish
- 2+ years of safety, supervisory, or leadership experience
- 1+ year of industrial safety experience
- High school diploma or GED required; safety certifications a plus
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office and safety reporting experience
- Able to stand, walk, and conduct facility inspections for extended periods
- Manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience
