Spacelift is the infrastructure orchestration platform built for the modern software era, managing the full lifecycle for both traditional IaC and AI-accelerated infrastructure. It integrates with Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation, Pulumi, and Ansible in a single governed workflow so you deliver secure, compliant infrastructure at scale. Developer self-service, Golden Paths with guardrails, an OPA policy engine, and drift detection accelerate developer velocity while maintaining control. Spacelift Intelligence adds AI-powered provisioning and diagnostics across traditional and AI-driven workflows.
Spacelift was founded in 2020 by long-time DevOps practitioner Marcin Wyszynski and successful entrepreneur Pawel Hytry and has raised $82.3M in funding over four rounds from top venture capital firms, including Insight Partners, Blossom Capital, Hoxton Ventures, Inovo Venture partners and Five Elms Capital.
Why This Role
This is an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of Spacelift’s growth. You’ll join a company with strong product-market fit, a world-class customer base, and a significant market opportunity. You’ll have the autonomy to build a high-performing East region, develop exceptional sales talent, influence our go-to-market strategy, and make a meaningful impact on the company’s trajectory.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced RVP to lead our East Sales organisation. This is a frontline leadership role focused on building a high-performing enterprise sales team, developing talent, and driving predictable revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on coach who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment. They have successfully led enterprise Account Executives, built disciplined sales execution around MEDDPICC, created strong outbound sales cultures, and know how to leverage channel partners to accelerate pipeline and close business.
This leader will report directly to the SVP of Global Sales and will play a critical role in scaling our go-to-market organization.
What You’ll Do
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Enterprise Account Executives across the Eastern U.S.
Build a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
Ramp new Account Executives quickly by providing structured coaching, deal strategy, and career development.
Drive disciplined execution of the MEDDPICC sales methodology across every stage of the sales cycle.
Conduct regular pipeline, forecast, and deal reviews to improve forecast accuracy and win rates.
Partner closely with SDRs to establish a repeatable outbound pipeline generation motion.
Work alongside Marketing, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Product to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Build and execute joint go-to-market plans with strategic channel partners, cloud providers, and regional systems integrators.
Personally engage in strategic customer opportunities, executive meetings, and complex negotiations.
Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top-performing enterprise sales talent.
Create an environment where coaching happens every week—not just during quarterly reviews.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
3–5 years of frontline SaaS sales leadership experience managing Enterprise Account Executives.
Track record of consistently exceeding regional revenue targets.
Experience successfully leading teams in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
Deep knowledge and practical application of the MEDDPICC sales methodology.
Demonstrated success in building outbound pipeline generation alongside SDR teams.
Experience developing and executing channel sales strategies with partners such as AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, VARs, or regional systems integrators.
Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and operational discipline.
Excellent executive communication and coaching skills.
Be based on the West Coast, US
Leadership Characteristics
We’re looking for someone who:
Loves developing people and is passionate about helping AE's ramp quickly and become top performers.
Is an exceptional sales coach—not just a forecast manager.
Leads from the front and isn’t afraid to jump into deals when needed.
Holds a high bar for execution while creating an environment where people enjoy winning together.
Uses data to coach rather than simply inspect.
Operates with urgency, ownership, and a builder’s mindset.
Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys helping shape a rapidly growing organisation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling enterprise infrastructure, DevOps, cloud, cybersecurity, or developer-focused SaaS solutions.
Experience working with cloud marketplaces and strategic technology partners.
Familiarity with modern sales tools, including Salesforce, Gong, Clari, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Experience leading geographically distributed sales teams.
Success in Your First 12 Months
Ramp and develop a high-performing East sales team.
Improve forecast accuracy and MEDDPICC adoption across the region.
Increase outbound pipeline generation and sales productivity.
Strengthen relationships with strategic channel partners and generate partner-sourced revenue.
Consistently deliver and exceed regional bookings targets while building a strong leadership bench for future growth.
