Your Role at Raising Cane’s
As an Operations Manager (OM), you will support the Restaurant Leader in driving operational excellence and upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture across all areas of restaurant operations.
Your Impact and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Execute restaurant operations functions
- Act as the manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant
- Manage cash handling and ensure accountability
- Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards
- Conduct shift management meetings to meet operations and safety standards
- Utilize tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution and document results
- Deploy Crewmembers effectively during shifts
- Provide exemplary customer service
- Utilize the reward and recognition program for Crewmembers
- Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval (e.g., discounts, promotions)
- Ensure cleanliness and good working order of the restaurant
- Complete other duties as assigned
Essential Functions
To thrive in this role, you will need to:
- Take orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and communicate clearly
- Work safely around hot cooking equipment and cleaning supplies
- Maintain a clean, safe restaurant while following food safety and company procedures
- Lead by example and uphold Raising Cane’s standards
- Demonstrate a ‘can do’ approach and coach others to perform at their best
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Must be 18 years of or older
- GCSEs or equivalent required
- 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Must complete all required Raising Cane’s training programs
- Able to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong communication skills
- Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, and create actionable plans
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and quick to learn new systems
