We are seeking experienced Resident Engineers (Architect / Civil & Structure / Electrical / Mechanical) to join our Project Team for a large-scale, mission-critical project. The successful candidates will be responsible for site supervision, technical coordination, quality control and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements and applicable standards.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and monitor site construction works within the respective discipline: Architectural, Civil & Structural (C&S), Mechanical or Electrical.
Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements and applicable standards.
Review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, technical documents and site requirements.
Conduct site inspections, monitor workmanship and ensure timely rectification of defects/non-conformances.
Coordinate closely with consultants, contractors, clients and multidisciplinary teams including Architectural, C&S, MEP, ICT and specialist systems.
Monitor project progress, construction sequencing and identify potential delays or technical issues.
Lead/participate in site and technical coordination meetings and drive timely resolution of site issues.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, statutory and authority requirements.
Coordinate and support testing, commissioning, integrated system testing and handover activities.
Maintain proper site records, inspection reports, progress updates and relevant project documentation.
About you
Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent: Architecture for Resident Architect, Civil/Structural Engineering for RE C&S, Mechanical Engineering for RE Mechanical, Electrical Engineering for RE Electrical.
Relevant professional registration with LAM/PAM or BEM, where applicable.
Minimum 8–15 years of relevant experience, with solid site supervision / Resident Engineer experience.
Experience in data centre, mission-critical, industrial, commercial or other large-scale projects will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, technical coordination, quality control and applicable statutory requirements.
Good understanding of multidisciplinary interfaces and project coordination.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of relevant technical/BIM software will be an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
