Remote Google Cloud Systems Engineer

Avvale in Milano seeks a Google System Engineer with IT background to design, build, and migrate cloud-based infrastructure on Google Cloud and other environments. You will manage IT cloud projects, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability across public, private, and hybrid setups.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT, strong cloud knowledge (GCP/Azure), scripting, DevOps experience, and excellent collaboration skills.

Install, configure, test, and maintain server operating systems, application software, and cloud infrastructure to host applications. Plan, design, and deploy cloud architectures across public, private, and hybrid environments. Support the implementation of proactive monitoring solutions to ensure system stability. Monitor cloud system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resources for efficiency and reliability. Resolve issues related to cloud environments and ensure security and backups. Collaborate with developers, system administrators, architects, and vendors to integrate cloud solutions. Provide technical support to users and maintain disaster recovery procedures. Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and best practices. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields; advanced degrees are a plus. Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages, system administration, networking, DevOps tools, and automation. Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional and Microsoft Azure Administrator are considered a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
