JOB DESCRIPTION

Why you should apply:

I’m sure you know that we’re the largest specialised staffing agency in the world and that we were founded in 1948. And whilst that’s great, let’s be honest, 1948 is a long time ago so let us tell you about what we can do for you, as well as who we are today.

We’re not just growing, we’ve grown (and continue to do so)! This year we’ve seen exceptional performances across all our teams and we’re looking for people to be a part of our future.

Yes, we’re part of a larger global group, and that’s great especially because of the support and training that offers. We start your training on day one and it continues right throughout your career with us. We provide you with a mix of classroom, on-desk, virtual, and inter branch get-togethers. In addition, we provide mentorship, tailored career development schemes, and tried and tested methodology for success (that our competitors will often copy!).

We don’t have individual offices, there are no closed doors, and we all sit together meaning that you’ll have real time training from more experienced colleagues.

It's this collaboration that has created an incredibly strong culture. Despite working in individual teams across different disciplines we’re very much one office working together. We celebrate the wins and commiserate the losses together – everyone is willing each other to succeed. We have regular social events on a monthly and quarterly basis, team lunches, events, and we genuinely enjoy each other’s company.

Our Brisbane office is made up of a close-knit group of people who all bring differing strengths and ideas. We come from different backgrounds in terms of nationality, education, and work experience; that makes us stronger together. We’re ambitious, not just as individuals but also as a team. We take pride in our ethical approach, and we work very hard to provide an outstanding service to our clients and candidates alike. We believe that everyone has a voice in the direction of the business, what we’re trying to achieve and how we should do it. We have a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion with several people in our branch representing us across APAC in our community, ensuring that our thoughts and ideas are heard.

We take a mature approach to flexibility offering WFH and a real understanding of the need for work-life balance. Many of our colleagues have families with children and they’re able to accommodate school sports days, assemblies, and the like.
We take your wellbeing at work very seriously - we value the importance of workplace happiness and provide you with numerous mental health awareness and EAP resources.

We’re a business that invests in technology and we embrace change. We have a continued investment in Artificial Intelligence and the best technology to enable your success – the AI component is a game changer within our industry. We all use Microsoft Surface Pro Tablets, Salesforce and offer a wide variety of licenses for external channels.

In addition, you’ll get two Charity days per year to support local causes, an early finish on a Friday.

An opportunity to qualify for local and international award ceremonies (Vegas & Monaco), access to various global networks, the potential for international transfer, and of course a strong bonus scheme.

We’re a zero debt business with over 300 offices worldwide so you’ll be joining a well established and highly stable, profitable organisation.

We also promote from within which means your next position after this one is very likely to still be with us.

Who you are:

Well, for a start you’re a team player - that’s a non-negotiable for us.

You might be an experienced recruiter looking for a move to a more mature, professional environment. Or someone with a career behind them that is looking for a new and rewarding challenge. Potentially you’re an Accountant who is over time sheets, EOM, and reconciliations, and you’re eager to retain your knowledge and showcasing it in a different way.

We’re keen to hear from people with varying backgrounds. You will be ethical in your approach, honest and be able to foster trust.

We’d also like you to have ambition. This is not a position for someone who just wants to settle. We want people who want to be a success personally, as well as share our group success.

We’re looking for someone who wants a career, not just a job. We’re not looking for people just to fill seats, we want people who are eager to learn who have a great attitude.

This is a role that is sales focused; whereas most people assume sales is talking, really, as any experienced individual will tell you, it’s about listening. We want you to build relationships with a large client base and listen to their needs, and then provide them with solutions.

Recruitment isn’t easy, if it was, everyone would be doing it. It’s a role that is busy, you’ll juggle multiple priorities, and you’ll need patience and resilience to ensure that you get the work done. But this is industry is incredibly satisfying and telling someone that they got their ideal job is a feeling that is hard to beat – thankfully we get to say that a lot!

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll guide your clients through the hiring experience from start to finish resulting in the right person in the right job. You’ll be expected to grow your network through new business and expanding on existing relationships, get to know the market and be across hiring trends, conduct interviews, and importantly build strong relationships with your colleagues – after all, your internal brand is just as important as your external brand.
