Quality Engineer - Hybrid | Lead Quality & Improvement

Rotork plc is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the product development team with quality assurance, resolving defects and ensuring conformance to customer specs. You will drive QA across operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold excellence in products, processes and systems.

The role involves developing QA protocols, audits, and root-cause analyses, plus training staff to apply quality standards.

Provide QA support to the product development team, resolving bugs and defects to meet customer specifications. Oversee quality within operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure processes meet standards. Develop, implement and maintain QA protocols to ensure compliance with standards. Conduct audits and inspections to verify adherence to regulations and NCRs. Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and best practices. Contribute to project plans to define and meet quality requirements from the outset. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. 3/4 years of related experience. Ability to read and interpret complex drawings/blueprints. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using RCA and quality tools (fishbone, 5W2H, 5Whys, Pareto, 8D). Proficiency in English and Italian.
